What did you do about the gaps between the bezel and screen if you didn’t keep the crt glass front?

Angle grinder with diamond cutting disc for glass/tile. Remember to break the glass bead (with pliers) at the end of the neck to depressurize the crt. Throw a blanket over it to be safe when doing that. And use safety glasses!

Or do what i did. Take a broken CRT, cut off the front but keep the band and mount points and mount a 8” lcd inside. Still need to be cleaned up in the back but no gaps or anything visible from the front. And I like the fast that you have black borders like a classic Mac.

For that you should probably get a 8,4” lcd that fits the case better.

No grayscale neckboard for the card, it's a "plain" Micron Xceed 30 color with a DB15 bracket for an external display.

I saw some board designs on GitHub, are there harness schematics as well for the grayscale neckboard designs? I haven't poked around about this at all as this was as much as a surprise to me as anyone else.

Is it possible to run both grayscale and an external color monitor as the same time?

I’m pretty sure this is a color Xceed 30 right? Purchased for the reasonable sum of $90 with the computer. The se/30 needs a recap and I need to figure out if this card works! Enjoy your weekend.
