400k Sony drive missing drive head

Recently, I purchased a Mac 128 off marketplace with the hope of gutting its floppy drive for my Lisa. As it turns out, it’s missing the drive head (and pressure pad). I know the pressure pad can be replaced with the end of a q-tip, but what is to be done if the drive head is totally missing? Is...

    128K with -A ROMs and OA-D34V-22 floppy

    Macintosh Classic II no boot

I recapped my classic II's logic board and it now does the same thing as before (nothing, just the fan comes on which it does without the logic board installed anyway). I'm trying the dishwasher trick now as a last resort. Do I need to recap the analog board for it to show any signs of life?

SE/30 - garbled startup chime, SCSI not working

I have an SE/30 which I just cleaned / recapped recently. It used to make no sound at all, but after a thorough cleaning and recap, it now makes this abrasive startup chime. Also, it was/is unable to read anything from an HD I have hooked up to it, which I have confirmed working on another...
