Any idea where to find that special DA15-VGA adapter?

Thank you for that idea, but as you probably thought, this combination reaches way too much into the case. Therefore I was looking for the adapter shown above, that does not use a DA-15 but a small 2-row IDC connector.

I plan to use it with a Micron Xceed Color30 HR.

Any idea where to find that special DA15-VGA adapter?

I am talking about the red-circled part, an SE30 internal VGA adapter with DIP-Switches. It would be great to have the VGA-converter inside the Mac case. Any source or Gerber file would be grateful. The picture is from an offering by Marushin in Japan. But that adapter is not part of the...

    Netatalk 2.3.0 available

This is exactly the information Synology gave to me as well, and therefore I assumed the Synology kernel would not support DDP.

    Netatalk 2.3.0 available

Great news, @slipperygrey. Maybe some of you experts can help me getting the docker container running un UNRAID? That would be really, really great. Here is the startup command. Besides the important environment variables, there are some UNRAID-specific ones which can be safely ignored. But...

Macintosh NUBUS Ethernet card with video

Since you have asked for at least 5 opinions – count me in. This is nothing more than Ethernet-only. Proof is not only the AUI connector – the onboard chips as well are insufficient for a video card.

Using Magneto Optical drives on vintage 68k Macs

The archived Sony Web Site gives us some hints about the drive's compatibility. The so-called Magneto Optical Drive Compatibility Lists does mention Charismac Anubis Utility FWB Disk Toolkit MacPeak Rapid Trak Software Architects Formatter One Pro to work with the SMO-F541. So maybe you give...

    A self-contained QEMU-based A/UX system for macOS

I am not sure if it's a good idea to make "-display sdl" the default. SDL is not installed by default, so either you make it a pre-requisite for the user or you bundle it into the package. Both options are not attractive, I guess.

    A self-contained QEMU-based A/UX system for macOS

I am using Sonoma. The main reason for my interest in "-display sdl" is using more than one virtual display... ;)

    A self-contained QEMU-based A/UX system for macOS

Unfortunately, this did not help. So I changed the startup option to "-display sdl", now it works. The old one works OK with "-display cocoa".

    A self-contained QEMU-based A/UX system for macOS

Thank you so much. Unfortunately, the latest updated somehow lost the top of screen finder menu bar. Is there anything I can do to get it back?

The stock firmware does not support WiFi yet. AFAIK, you have to install a different firmware which is in beta right now.

    Installing/restoring AppleTalk on System 7.0.1

And keep in mind, in a PiSCSI with wireless Pi setup, AppleTalk won't work to communicate with other devices on the network.

SCSI2SD as an External HDD for Multiple Macs?

The v5.5 is a comfortable option, but is has some limitations: The terminator is always on and cannot be switched off. So the v5.5 has to be the last device in the chain. The v5.5 has a DB25 connector. Most of the external enclosures have the larger Centronics-Style connector. ...
