Thank you! It’s been hard to sort out without 5126 schematics. I am working on the sound issue, but it seems a bit different than the 5120 so still poking around.

I got it to boot finally. More broken traces and some misunderstanding on my part in some repairs. Still don’t have sound, but I’ll sort that out I’m sure.

I have managed to fix quite a few traces. I have what seems to be correct voltages on the board. I can see activity on the CPU data pins. I’m getting a black screen with the backlight on. I’m wondering now if I have a bad trace on my LCD connector. The pinout is different than the 5120...

Thank you! I have held the buttons down, but maybe not long enough. I did have everything unplugged before I installed the RAM card for sure.

I got my first portable, 5126 backlit. I took all the advice here and didn’t try and boot anything. I recapped the board, got a new battery that I’ve seen others use, 6.5V lantern battery and used the 3d printed shell and connected copper feet. Got a new 9v battery as well and the system booted...
