I am reworking the onboard video and after resoldering the Brooktree RAMDAC (still not getting stable video) the power switch and automatic shutoff is starting to work on and off. So I am thinking its something to do with the traces in this area of the board.

Is there a preferred AppleTalk version that can use TCP/IP for 7.5.5 rev 2 and up, or does one need OS 7.6.1 or 8 to use AppleTalk (AFP) over TCP/IP?

Nice work. What steps did you take for the reflow you mentioned? I’ve got a 840av board I’m trying to revive - completed recap but no chime or video when PSU switches on. I’m wondering if a PSU pssue possibly.
