Booting off the ROM did not fix the issue, however it isn't just giving me an address error with no detail now. I am getting a System Error ID = 02. I looked that up and Mac Wizard and...... that means address error.

I will try with booting from ROM. It runs fine until it gets Bolo going, but on my SE it is fine. That said, my SE has an accelerator, so that isn't fully apples to apples (pun intended).

Figured out what the issue was. I switched out one of the Phone Net adapters and found corrosion inside one of the plugs. I have two Macs pulling files from my IIci now!

Does the appletalk stuff care about phonenet? It works with a printer cable, so I have been assuming the software is good, but I haven't found anything so far that says different software is needed.
My IIci is the only computer that has the appletalk control panel which does have it set to the printer port. That said, I am using the printer port on all of them, and the do work with the 8 pin cable 1 to 1, so I don't think that is an issue *anymore*. I did beat my head on that for about 15...
