    To my knowledge, nothing has been recapped.  None of the capacitors look bulged or leaky inside the LC.. it actually looks brand new inside (don't know if that makes a difference).  The CD ROM drive is an external AppleCD 300.  The drive powers on and accepts/ejects the caddy.  I tried to play...
