Ugh, I ordered 128MB of RAM from an Amazon reseller. The listing even said "Certified for 20th Anniversary Macintosh"... and of course they don't fit. It's like the notch/pins are one off from where they should be. Annoying!

That's amazing. I wish I had the box! I'll be on the lookout for that Tango card, and a 10/100 Comm Slot card. Those seem particularly annoying to find too.

Mac OS 8.6 has been successfully installed, along with those generic RTL drivers. Everything seems to be working great! Well except that barely any websites load in terrible old browsers ;) Hope my RAM comes soon and I find a Comm Slot II ethernet card so I can get USB going! Too bad there's...

USB card is a great idea. I'm hoping to get a 10/100 card for Comm Slot II to leave the PCI slot open for a USB card like that, anyone know where to source one of those? I think Farallon made the only ones. It's running 7.6.1 for now, I need to decide if I want OS 8 or OS 9! Any thoughts?
