    Color Classic Mystic Question

    Can I use a Performa 578 logic board for the mystic upgrade? Every article refers to LC575 but the technical specs look the same to me. Is there a difference or functional limitation to using a 578 board? Thx.

    SE/30 Jailbar Pattern before and after recapping

    I had the exact same issue a few years ago. I had a bad trace between UE8 pin 3 to UC7 pin 3. Here's a pic of the bodge, no more jail bars. Maybe your issue is the same line.

    MAC SE 342-0352-A ROM High duplication

    Perhaps you already tried this, but I've had this error on 2 SE's and it was the low ROM that was bad. Chip 0353-A. Have you swapped that one out with a known good one?

    Macintosh All-In-One Disaster

    Happy to find this thread, I have a Mac Plus with similar issues. I'm getting roughly 50-60% normal voltage on the 5v and 12v. I replaced the fly back and now have raster, patterns on the screen but no bong or boot. I see a new 4N35 at U3 might help, specs for 4N35 say it has 3.55kv output...

    Are Mac flybacks interchangeable?

    I have a Mac Plus which appears to have a dead flyback. Can I source one from a SE/30 analog parts board? Are specs the same, are they interchangeable?
