Yeah, I have an ADC adapter and it's handy. I also have the other DVIator that is a DVI adapter for the ADC port on your Mac video card. The university sale here had a couple of those displays last time I was there but I think they were around the $50 mark :/

PCI? Use an AGP card. There was a PC 128MB Radeon 9800 card in the box at the Uni sale last week for $10. You can flash those to Mac. They had a few G4-era Apple video cards too but I didn't check what they were right off. If you're interested, I can have a look next week.
