    Thanks. Everyday it got harder to bring it back. Now it's just dim... I'll search for a tutorial on how to open it and what the inverter looks like. Any suggestions?

    I have a similar problem with my grey Clamshell SE. For a while, the screen would get very dim but when pressed around the keyboard part, it would get bright again.
