Amazing work, I forked the repo and refactored a bit to compile with Retro68. Very much a WIP, leaving a link (https://github.com/lubert/MacSSL/tree/retro68) here in case it's useful for anyone else with their projects.

As an update, I replaced the BU406 with a BU406D and that fixed the issue! Thanks folks for the replies.

I bought an SE/30 which had the Simasimac symptoms, so I got the logic board recapped. The mac boots successfully now, however the screen has a strange flickering and garbled display. Any ideas what could be the culprit?

@megabyte I'm encountering the same issue on my SE/30, just curious, did you ever fix yours?
