Hootswitch, a (work-in-progress) Apple Desktop Bus switch

I printed @superjer2000's case in some of that PolyMaker platinum-matching PLA awhile back...looks like the little brother of the IIci sitting next to it :)

Questions about Power Mac 6100 Maintenance and Preservation

While it is expensive, I guess it's less expensive than the original octopus cable: https://www.ebay.com/itm/225696044975 I'm not affiliated in any way with that seller or product...just making you aware of it :) Also, you *can* boot a 6100 without a PRAM battery installed. Push the power...

They appear to be in full compliance with the hardware and software licenses intentionally selected by @saybur, and credits to the original author are present on the JCM store page, the first line of the github repo's landing page, and on the devices themselves.

MicroMac Power WorkStation - Did anyone ever buy one?

It would be straightforward to clone, but I suspect it will only work with either very simple, or very specific accelerators. Nope...it doesn't even fit in an LC without any cards installed. I've poked at it a bit more, and I was wrong about this (shocking). The clock signal coming in to the...

MicroMac Power WorkStation - Did anyone ever buy one?

It took me 3 years, but I believe I've finally found the dual-slot PDS adapter that was an option with the Power Workstation: There's no programmable logic on it...just a single hex inverter, and near as I can tell, none of the inverted signals are actually used. Only two of the...

Picked up a few macs, don't know where to start

They'll be similar if not the same. 6100s would probably have the Houdini 2 card in a PPC PDS to 040 PDS riser. I believe the 610s could have the Houdini 1 (slower 486 CPU and no sound card vs the Houdini 2).

You appear to have both. There's at least one 6100 labeled "DOS Compatible" pictured in your first post.

two binaries in a 27c512 (Apple IIc)

Yeah, the Osborne definitely didn't like it when I did that, but I had to do it at least once...big red button syndrome

The DOS compatibility cards in them are still nice finds.

two binaries in a 27c512 (Apple IIc)

I have a similar arrangement in an Osborne that allows using an external switch to choose between the stock ROM and a 3rd party ROM by just toggling the high address line. Don't know why that wouldn't work here too (y)

There's an American version that's 120V AC. Also, I guess it's been succeeded by the "FX-888DX".
