Ok I am currently running system 7.1 but I need to update to 7.5.5. I have the update disks for 7.5.5 but it won’t install. What do I need? 7.5.3? Does anyone have 7.5.3 that you could share with me? I can pay you for the disks

Long story short my screenplay is about an alien invasion and a retired navy commander who was just elected to the Senate and he and his family are on vacation in Mexico when the aliens invade If I tell you anything more I will give away the story

I have a newer iMac but I can’t use it on my screenplay project because it is connected to the internet and it is too distracting. And the Classic ii will be a good word processor.

By the way the reason that I got the Macintosh Classic ii is that I am going to write a script for a movie on it

Listen 1. I was trained to repair vehicles but not computers 2. It is my computer and my choice to use a professional to repair it so if you don’t like that I apologize but it’s my money to spend on my Macintosh Classic ii

Ok I am getting the boards re- capped for $175.00 plus postage and $95 bucks to open it up to remove and replace both boards

I appreciate all of your help but keep in mind that: 1. I am not experienced in board level repairs. 2. One of you mentioned certain numbers that must relate to certain electronic parts but I have no clue what they are 3. I prefer to pay a professional to make the repairs necessary Thanks All

What I am going to do is to have a computer repair technician open it up to remove both boards and send them out to a board repair company
