You're floppy must be a 1,4 mb one, not smaller. Maybe this is your problem?

Quite some time ago I got a powerbook 140, with a dead hardrive. I managed to get it working again by putting the harddrive in a fridge. This was however temporally, after a couple of days it stopped working. xx( The only way to boot a system was with a floppy, but System 7 takes so much...
