Better Trackball for Kensington Turbo Mouse

Glad I could confirm the compatibility! I picked up a red 7 with an interesting typeface.

    SE/30 recap with lifted pad

Wow am I glad I found this. I just did the same thing- C6 ripped the positive pad off. All the other caps came off without a problem and cleaned up nicely; they seem to alive the multimeter. If all it is is sound I can live without that: but I would like to fix it at some point so once I can...

    LCWeb, a 68k web server

Good to know! It's far more likely I'd may keep it all internal to my home network, which would still be fun. I don't really have the means to deal with security when it comes to these things and keep it insular is the next best thing to keeping it all turned off in a closet ;). I hope to...

    LCWeb, a 68k web server

That got me thinking if that was even the point for me, i.e. do I really want my email on my retro machine? The purpose for me was to be distraction less. So maybe I'll try tackling it for the technical exercise at some point. But I'd rather get the quiet machine running to just stand alone.

    The Zigintosh SE/47 lives!

I tired this before BlueSCSI and FloppyEMU were a thing (or at least I didn’t know about them) and ran into a wall. But now there’s so much work being done to keep these machines alive!

    LCWeb, a 68k web server

I'm curious about 68k Macs ability to browse and use email services. Do modern email services work at all, because modern security protocols just aren't supported by old software? How feasible is it to even write software for System 6/7 to support any of that? Not that I need to use my SE/30...

    The Zigintosh SE/47 lives!

Fantastic. I'm just starting this journey, but I feel that 90s kid vibe. I could have never afforded an SE/30 back then, but I got the middle school giggles when I recapped the analog board and it booted with clean video. I love being on this precipice of learning and not knowing exactly wtf I'm...
