Update: I fixed it. It was the Dell Multimedia Keyboard I was using. I unplugged it, and then the darn thing started booting. I think I might have also heard it laughing. Then I had no video once it loaded the finder. It was the monitor I was using. I also would up switching to my Digital Audio...

Nope, I tried the original restore disk, I tried the OS9 boot USB, which does boot on my iBook, and I tried a system folder I found on the original hard drive to no avail. Also as suggested I tried a fresh install over FireWire to the G4 from the iBook

So I finally got around to recapping my CC analog board, and it came up for the first time I've owned it in 6 years. But it had low voltage so I had to replace an option isolator. Now it runs stable, however the video is shifted and the HS pot does nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions...

Turn it off on the computer. I found it when my PB G4 would run fine during setup, but crash right after I connected airport. I found an article somewhere, possibly here, that said what the issue was and how to fix it.

I’ve been having a similar problem with mine. Every time I press the soft power button, I get a light blink and a click. Years later, I still haven’t figured it out. Also it makes for the most awesome looking paperweight.

Does anybody know what disks the Apple IIc shipped with? My Google Fu has failed me here. I remember having them when I was a kid, but now as an adult i'm at a loss.

Did you make the cable? I would first start to make sure you don't have any cold solder joints, or bad solder joints. I just recently had this issue, where a wire broke off on the din side of my cable.

I still use an Apple IIc, and had one when I was a kid back in the 90's and would love to write something for your newsletter. Also, would love to subscribe!
