    7200/75 Sound problem

    Macintosh 550 motherboard capacitors

I'm thinking about having all the capacitors replaced. I was able to replace the battery. I replaced the 8mb RAM stick with a 32mb, and added the co-processor, but now I get a "type 1" error, so I'll have to figure out which part is causing the issue.

    Macintosh 550 motherboard capacitors

Hello, Picked up a Performa 550 recently, I was told the capacitors have been replaced however there appears to be one that leaked or is leaking. Do these capacitors look like replacements or original? http://imgur.com/Faqqsyg Also, how do you remove the "cage" that keeps the CMOS battery inside?
