I'm using an old pc with Debian 13 with netatalk 4 as a file server/repository for my macs. Appletalk works right back to the 512k and all the various older Macs and my intel 2020 iMac can all see and access the shared folder on the Debian server. I've had no problems with lost resource forks...

Just wondering isn't it easier and cheaper to recap the original board in these? I've just done three and all worked perfectly after replacing the caps

@shirsch did you ever try the scaler on a plus or 512k as per my previous post #89 about poor quality result?

Did you actually remove the chips you have reflowed? It will be dirty and possibly have track corrosion under them

It sounds like the analogue board is dead from what you have described. Currently have one SE DV with same problem and have replaced the analogue board wit SE 600 mhz one as couldn't find a 700 mhz board
