Ok, didn’t know how many computers had an AUI port. These must be some unique computers, as Macs typically had an AAUI port and 10baseT cards that work in PC’s are inexpensive ($10-$15) on eBay.
I think your idea for an AUI to AAUI adapter is a good one.
I had another idea. I remember in the 90’s you could find inexpensive 10baseT hub with a single 10base2 connector. I used one in my office to bridge a 10base2 network to a 10baseT network - plug and play. I just searched eBay and found...
Why is there a dark spot about 3 inches big near the fan, inside the case? Or is that a shadow? I would clean out the inside with a can of air and confirm the fans are working. The loose RAM stick will definitely cause the computer to freeze.
I had a 3Dfx Voodoo 2 card and an 10 MB ethernet card installed in my C500. I was amazed the first time I saw Unreal running on that machine - a Mac gaming computer!

Thanks. I didn’t find the very helpful thread I mentioned in post #2 until today. I ordered the RPT60A today, along with the Molex crimps and connectors from Mouser. The RPT60A has a 50% tariff, making it cost about $26, which is still inexpensive.
