    G3 iMac acting crazy after upgrade

    You should be careful about switching the boards... At least from my experience, the 400mhz iMac g3 and the 600mhz g3 used different heatsinc configurations...so if you put a 600mhz in a 400mhz metal logic board tray, it doesn't make contact with the heatsinc and will overheat.

    8" SVGA color CRT

    That's really neat.. Sounds like it may have come from a Point-of-Sale system. Those were really fun back in the day. Enjoy using it!
