On the photo you posted it's the clearer green spots on the AC side as Byrd mentioned. However sometimes traces are cut in ways that are not apparent at all to the naked eye, so it would be a good idea to check everything just in case.
Thanks for the tips everyone. I tried Toast versions 3.8 USB, 4.0.2, 4.1.3, 5.2.1 and 5.2.3 and none detected the cd-writer. Verdict: not compatible with Mac OS 9.
That looks perfect, but I'm not in the US, so I'll see what I can find locally. Still good to know there are possibly new drives...

This is great! I also recently drew the schematic for a TDK PSU, but it’s part number 614-0003. Seems similar enough to this one though. I can share it as well if there’s interest.
Not knowing much about the state of your PSU, so take this with a grain of salt, I doubt the problem is with the inductors. Can you explain what the symptoms are?
