    I've never done this. But I've seen modeler's talk about removing paint, which requires weakening paint without damaging the relatively fragile polystyrene models. They talk about using oven cleaner. This page also mentions Dettol disinfectant and high concentration isopropyl alcohol...

    Mac Classic Flyback Transformer Needed

    Most flybacks appear to sell for around $30 to $40 USD. But the price for 42031 units has skyrocketed to $150 USD. Are we being taken advantage of? Or perhaps the demand is just drying up the supply and there are no more being manufactured.
