We had an '06 core 2 duo with the ram under the logic board. It seemed to get very hot. While under the warranty we had the same problems you are having and they replaced the logic board. SO we sold it before it burned out again. The G4 (PPC) version runs cooler and has never quit on us.

Here's another cord that I picked up. It says 'Motorola' on it. It goes from a serial plug to two 25-pin SCSI plugs, one male and one female. What could it be? :?:

You may notice the two screws that hold it together under the colored parts. If you carefully pry these off, and remove the screws; the dust bunnies can be wisked out.

Nice, I believe this is one of two models that was shipped running OSx and lacks the usb like found in the blue/white. A bridge computer. The other was a wallstreet I think.

We have a SG and the software. It gives you much better res w/o need of a nubus slot for a card.

You can mark over with the same type marker and wipe quickly with a rag before it dries. marker dilutes marker

AVP does its thing okay, but I like would like to try a different one against it.

Is there any other player out there to try against AVP? I have os 8 on the 660av.

Seams to me I got 8.1 talking by setting up both computers and hitting the connect at the same time on each one.

I use jaz disks to back up my files. If I remember right it is about 15MB per second with a scsi II. It will boot my 520c fine.
