It may be the battery. They will not boot with a dead battery but they will without it in the logic board. Try taking the battery out and see if they power up. ->Ben

I'm pretty sure they are. I terminated the internal HD and removed the external chain. Do you know if the internal drive needs to be terminated on the CC?
