Wanted - Macintosh SE Schematic Pages 1&2 (not SE/30)

Hi, I have the same issue with a missing C10 capacitor. Is the following Amazon link a valid replacement based on the 0.1µF (100nF) supporting 50V ? https://a.co/d/aVYrp5y

Restoring a Mac SE 5011 in bad shape

Hi, I changed the analog board with a working one and I noticed the motherboard ( 820-0250-A) is missing capacitor C10 (next to the battery and speaker connector). I found on this BOM that it's a 100nF capacitor like most of them on this board. Has anyone got a link or ref to pick the right...

Mac SE 30 floppy drive head issue

I removed the floppy drive and I can run the Mac SE 30 without it since I have a BlueSCSI. This drive is the reason for the blown UJ11. At the moment the board is not starting and I will try again once the UJ11 chip is removed.

Mac SE 30 floppy drive head issue

Or could it be the flyback ? If so, I heard I could move the one from the SE analog board to the SE/30 (I'll take a photo of the analog board)

Mac SE 30 floppy drive head issue

I followed the tutorial which went well until I connected the floppy drive to my Mac SE 30. It made a strange noise so I unplugged the drive as it wasn't properly mounted. The issue is that I smelt some burn around the Mac power supply. Testing the PSU, I get the 12V and 5V output with a...

Restoring a Mac SE 5011 in bad shape

Hi I removed the analog board. It's a 820-0206-B model, see photos. Some solderings at the back are dark (looks links something burnt). I'm not sure O understand the suggested solution : " Check/resolder pin 1 (bottom, vertical yoke) of the j1 connector, pin 5 of the ]4 connector, and...

Mac SE 30 floppy drive head issue

Hi, I found a replacement floppy drive for my Mac SE 30. It's a Sony MP-F51W-23 (MFD-51W-03) on the side that I took from a dead Mac. Using the cable with the red stripe, the drive loads and ejects disks ok. However it identified all disks are unreadable. I noticed the upper head didn't touch...

Restoring a Mac SE 5011 in bad shape

Hi, I purchased a cheap Mac SE 5011 as I needed to replace the floppy drive in my Mac SE/30. I'm trying to figure out if this Mac SE can be restored, or which parts can be useful. The motherboard (820-0250) is in a fairly bad state since the battery leaked. I removed it and cleaned the board...
