Are Apple LaserWriters come to an end?

It seems that all sources of wiper blades for the toner cartridges are old stock and it is impossible to fix. Also toner cartridges are old stock. Have all b/w laser Apple printers come to the end of their lifespan? Shall I get rid of my 12/640 and NTR?

Lexmark e260dn not seen by Mac OS 9

Cannot get to print to this e260dn from Mac OS 9, while it is correctly seen by the same Mac when running OS X. In this specific case the Mac is a PowerBook G3. I installed the OS 9 printer software from the Lexmark site.

    Personal LaserWriter 12/640 phantom jam

This PLW12/640 receives the print queue, green led blinks regularly, gets the sheet but then stalls as if a second series of rollers isn’t activated. The sheet is indeed only partially picked up from the tray. Any suggestions ?

Another LCD liberated from vinegar syndrome, this one is a PowerBook 5300ce

My last fix was for a PowerBook 180c: https://68kmla.org/bb/index.php?threads/powerbook-180c-a-very-aggressive-mold.35541/ polarizers film from alibaba. for the 9” PB180c I could use the sheet in diagonal, but for the bigger SVGA display of the PB5300ce I need to source the 45° sheets or bigger

Incidentally, what is the continuity scheme? 1-row1 to 1-row2 to 1-row3 to 1-row4 2-row1 to 2-row2 to 2-row3 to 2-row4 Etc… I noticed that pin 6-7-8 are continuous

    PowerBook 100 half screen dead

I have several known good logic boards and use one of these for testing. I recapped lcd with tantalium caps, cleaned everything with isopropanol and passed the solder over the 12 row 4 pins. Result, half screen stil dead AND now blue screen of death… 👹

    PowerBook 100 half screen dead

Ok, I can see that the mess is exactly on the other side of the PCB where the 8 caps are leaking. there’s still continuity between each pin of rows 1-2-3-4 and the corresponding pin. i.e. each row has 12 pins so I tested pin 1 of row 1 with pin 1 of row 2, then 3 and 4 etc... will recapping and...

    PowerBook 100 half screen dead

ok, so I have to desolder and resolder all 4 row drivers? or just the last one? quite a challenge though. I have many busted lcd from PB100 so I can make some practice, but its really a challenge for me…
