I tinkered with the version 4.0 and 4.5 -> 4.6. They use a different licensing method. That method records installations with the use of a tape to license it. The v5.7 version may be like the 2.0 version.. I am not sure.. I do think it has to do with the "cdev" data.. but that's all greek to me.

When using ResEdit and ResCompare I found that on the version 2.0 that there is a crack made for already that comes with it on macgarden.
