Hi,
I tried to adapt script to macperl, but no chance. Maybe perl 5.2.0 for 68k is too old and/or some ports aren't there.
Has someone an idea for a simple perl written blog system for 68k system 7.5.x?
Thx
Hi,
yes I'm using the last alpha and patches. I tried java-viewer, too. Add the java-files from vnc (AT&T) on the Mac and completed the directory entry on TriviaPrefs.
I have respond from the port 5800, but it ends with "java.io.EOFException".
Chromi/Morton has adapted java-files as tgz...
Hi,
I tried (Chromi-)VNC V.3.4-a5 on my new (old) LC 475, it's free and works great on sys 7.5.5. But I cannot see more than a 32x32 cutout on the display if I try to login over network.
The simple login over ibook |<------>|hub|<------>|LC475 works with full display; but over the...
Dear,
I'm trying to setup a floppy driven webserver on a Mac LC. If I try to install system on floppy from harddisk, there is no problem. BUT if I use my scsi-CD-ROM (with cd-sunrise) there is a failure like "can't read CD, read-only, blabla" ans CD is ejected.
Ok, I found some info to install...
Hi,
scripts are taken from http://bkhome.org/blog/ and the other from http://fgguestbook.sourceforge.net/... no virus inside 8-)
I've tested it with NetPresenz and QPQ, both are cgi-capable. Before running, I test script with macperl and there are many errors. Maybe simple, but I'm not the...
Hi,
is here someone who is able to "convert" some perl scripts (blog, guestbook) to macperl ?
They work well on linux perl 5, but I'll put them to work on my Mac LC webserver; there is macperl 5.20 installed and running well.
sorry, I'm not a perl expert to do that myself... :(
Thx...
ups,
there is no VNC server for 68k. Thats only a viewer :( from MacVNC...
And the correct web-address for the server is: http://mac-lc.dyndns-server.com:8080
Hm, at moment there seems to be a problem with dyndns or my router has problems to handle http-requests for 2 server behind...
tbc
ok, it's done. ;D
I expand most files with OS 10.4.11, open a image, put the files in and burn them with "HD-Serviceprogram" (don't know the right name for it).
The problem were the compressed files, everyone use another method and/or Mac-program to do it and system 7.0.1 had some...
Hej,
I know, it's a newbie question. But I need help :I
I 've an old Mac LC and try to install german system 7.0.1; ok, great, it works. AND I've a SCSI-CD working/available.
I tried to follow-up the instructions given by Tyler in his homepage at...
Yes, I did. I solder them new and bend (a little) the connectors, too.
Thats not the problem; I could measure nothing on the vertical line. So I check back to the next cap, TDA1170 and so on. My colleague has a ascilloscope and he check back until pin 4 from the UE6 on the logic board.
Hej,
I know the site. I first replaced the mentioned caps and the TDA1170, but no difference. Then I recaped the logic board, and my colleague gauge "no trigger" signal on UE6.
no chance... and no idea :(
Dear,
I bought an old SE/30 for server-purposes, but sadly it has a video problem. I see only a fine horizontal line. The vertical sweep circuit on the analog board doesn't work, but all parts on the analog board are ok.
We detect the problem on the logical board. The UI6 (341-0665-A) seems to...
