PPC750L (Copper) No 10X Multiplier

Unless I am mistaken, and maybe this is already known:

it seems not all 750L CPUs supported a 10x multiplier. I think it was added with revision 3.2. I have a 350MHz 750L that seems to be revision 2.1, and a 450MHz that seems to be 2.2 (as reported by Gauge Pro). The datasheets seem a little lacking in data; I can not find a revision list for example. One datasheet has a note that reads:

" This refers to the die mask revision number and is specified in the part numbering scheme for identification purposes only. "

I think in later models this became more important. To identify the revision by the markings on the CPU package; a "G" indicates revision 3.2
for example:

IBM25PPC750L-G...

My 350MHz is "D", and my 450MHz is "E"

I thought all the 750L Copper G3s supported a 10x multiplier, so this is just an FYI if you are having issues trying to get a 10X multiplier working on a 750L without success. I am posting in the PCI PowerMac forum because I see this only being an issue on machines with a bus speed of 60MHz or less. For example, I was trying to get 50MHz x10 on an XLR8 Carrier in a 7300.

Just want to update with some new info. The latest 750L I got is an "F", Gauge Pro reports it as version 3.0, and it does have a 10X multiplier.
