Me and a freind liberated a IIe from school and it works great, and is sweet to look at and play with but with no software it is just eyecandy. I was wondering how can I get games from the net and send them to the IIe? I don't know if this would be considered piracy since most of the companies are long gone or wouldn't see a dime from me buying a waayy overpriced secondhand 5.25 game/app. Also if anyone lives near Chino Hills or in southjer California and has games that they don't want please PM me.

Go check out this site: http://adtpro.sourceforge.net/ it will give you all the information you need on how to transfer games and such back to the Apple IIe you liberated.

P.S. congrats on scoring a IIe for free what all did you get with it?

Thanks, could I use IBM 5.25 floppies in the apple II? *Please say yes* they were just a random score new in package from a local thrift store.

Well the teacher had another apple II, I believe just a normal II but it had some sweet cards in it, cant remember what exactly but I think he kinda knew what he had cause he wasnt about to give that one up. We got the IIe, two 5.25 apple drives, and a II monitor all working perfectly as far as we know.

Yes (and that's not just because you asked for a 'yes') - they'll need formatting but'll work fine

Actually it depends on the disks. As long as they are Double Density disks they will work in the IIe. High Density 5.25 disks can't be read or formatted by the Apple IIe.

and we we get this when we try and format it trys, sounds good, but then says press a key to configure adtpro parameters, and when I do it says check disk or drive door. Is this a correct disk?

Yes, this looks like the right kind of disk. If ADTPro says, "check disk or drive door," it means that the format didn't work (which id should, given your media). Are you using version 1.0.6 of ADTPro? There was a formatting problem with some earlier versions. Also, if you have any other way of booting DOS, you can just INIT HELLO with a disk in the drive and it'll format for you, too.
