I have an early 2009 Mac Mini 2.0Ghz, core Duo.  It's running El Capitan 10.11 right now, but I'm thinking of updating to Sierra 10.12.  Problem is, the Wifi card is going to stop working.  I have one of the unsupported Broadcom  BCM4321 WiFii cards in it. The ID of the card is (0x14E4, 0x90) I was thinking of trying a Wifi card from a Macbook in the Mini,

I found a MacBook 13" Airport WIFI Bluetooth Card BCM943224PCIEBT which has the same 30 pin connector as the one in the Mini, and a similar form factor. I don;t know what this card ID's as. I don't have a machine with this card in it.  This card goes in the A1342, A1297 and A1286 MacBooks. If anyone has one of these machines, it would be great if you could check the System information and tell me the ID of the wifi card.

Any opinions on  this card working in the Mini?

I've seen some patches using kext files from an older OS X version in Sierra, but you risk kernel panics and I don't feel like dealing with that.
