NIGHT STALKER
::) a limited investigation has devolved into general curiosity and an urge to document my collection of the Medusa Messes that FOXCONN built for Apple for the CC(?) through G3AIO(?) series and the Q630 through 6500 Desktops and Towers. The cables have part numbers on them.

Here's a start, any help in identifying FOXCONN/T&B/Apple part numbers and the machines with which they're associated will be much appreciated.

FOXCONN LOOMS:

590-0296 - my long gone and unlamented LC575?

080-0003-192 - my Quadra 630? Has what appears to be the 3.3v connection in PSU remnants. These are installed in a Sharp DaisywheelTypewiter case.

080-0003-192 - appears to be from the 6290 as there is no provision for the 3.3v hookup, but somehow I have three of these cases?

080-0003-192 - 6360 with 3.3v connections from LOOM to what appears to be the same PSU setup as the 6290

080-0003-193 - seems to be from 6500 as I have two of them, but I've got one in a Desktop chassis as well.

T&G LOOM:

622-2PP - Appears to be from my 6400 as that's the board running ATM in the BenchMac/TestBed. It has the top hat Zip extension w/terminator

This all started out when @joshc posted pix of his Macintosh Performa 5200CD acquisition. Was curious about what the sound quality of the Rev. B speakers from my long gone and a bit lamented 5200 would be if hooked up to my 6400/6500 BenchMac/Testbed.

Almost certainly not anywhere near TAM/Bose territory as @EvilCapitalist pointed out, but  .  .  .

So I started looking into adding my 5200 Rev. B Speakers up to add stereo the Subwoofer or 630/6360 housed speaker setup of my 6400/6500 BenchMac Kluge and here we are.

Back on topic: Ye olde Frogeye diagram from the CC hacker community in .jp:

I'll have to play around in AI9 to come up with a diagram for the full harness, but this one is a good start from back in the day..

Correction of data above.

FOXCONN LOOMS:

590-0296 - my long gone and unlamented LC575?

080-0003-192 - appears to be from the 6290, somehow I have three of these cases/PSUs? All have same size fan opening.***

080-0003-192 - 6360 with 3.3v connections from LOOM to what appears to be the same PSU setup as the P6290 and Q630?

080-0003-193 - from the 6500 as there's no ribbon cable to the PSU.

080-0003-193 - this one's in a Desktop chassis and has the 3.3v hookup line for the PSU

T&G LOOM:

622-2PP - 6400 as that's the board running ATM in the BenchMac/TestBed. It has the top hat Zip extension w/terminator. Used that one for 6400/6500 compatibility.

I'm wondering what voltages are on the 6 pin connection to the Desktop PSUs? Was 3.3v added to that connection along with what I'm assuming would be Soft Power on versions preceeding the 6360, very curious?

*** There's a differentiation of fan sizes between models. Larger fan is in my 6360 modified case and protrudes into the PSU so as almost to touch the huge cap. Was the fan opening the same on all Desktop models? Seems like that must be the case, question is where did my third case/PSU come from, the sheet metal appears to be identical?
