Linux is really picky when it comes to overclocking, and for bad RAM, too. If I overclock my PC gcc will die often and often while compiling anything.

We are talking about a Sawtooth G4? That is NewWorld.. I have OpenSuSE 10.1 installed on mine. Works like a charm.. all internal hardware I have is supported.
I installed Mac OS 8.6 on my Sawtooth first with MOM, as long as it worked, it worked good, alas after a while opening any window in the guest OS would stall the VM.
It is just impossible. It's missing drivers and makes wrong assumptions on the hardware.
You can try MacOnMac or MOL on Linux, but it will not run nativly.
Can one use a Color Classic as a monitor too? Does it have an DB15 connector?

But they fix you. Besides Cocoa, there is nothing that let's you use it, and you just can't go and port the complete object model (even the API is an obejct model) to another language...
