I know this has been asked before, but the threads ended early because the posters got the cards working without needing the schematic.
I have two LC-PDS Apple IIe cards. One works perfectly and the other gives me the "defective" or "10019" error on the same machine, a pristine LC475. I've...
Has anyone been able to install A/UX on a Compact Flash card using the SCSI/CF adapter (Aztec Monster)?
I've tried the FWB HDT PE driver and the HD driver from Drive Setup in 9.2.2, both of which hang my Quadra 700 during the A/UX install boot.
On the same machine, I successfully installed...
I found some lots of chips on ebay used on 4MB 64 pin SIMMs, M5M44100BJ. I'm going to do a circuit board layout and will have a few SIMMs made at a local PCB shop.
It would offset the cost to have a bunch made, and I'd sell them at cost. Would anyone be interested?
Finally got the Cat-5 Ethernet card for my SE/30, and it works beautifully. Now I want to run MacSSH and AUX on it.
I upgraded my Quadra 700 to 68 MB and put its old 4MB SIMMs in the SE/30, but it won't boot with them in there.
I've tried putting the 4x4MB SIMMs in Bank A and leaving the 1MB...
This site is a lot of fun. Great advice and smart people here. Here's a couple of questions that ought to be interesting.
1. What was the fastest G3 system ever produced. I'm familiar with the 700 MHz iMac, but was there another that was faster?
2. What was the quietest G4 ever made? I know...
Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have an LC/PDS IIe card schematic? I have a card that gives me the "defective" error message, despite recapping it and resoldering all the PDS pins (thanks to a certain post on this website).
Two general questions about LCs and systems with LC040 that I've wondered for a long time:
1. Is it possible to replace the LC040 with 68040 in a system with a socket? Are the pinouts even the same?
2. Why did LCs only have 16 bit data busses instead of 32? How did this really lower the cost...
Hi Guys, just going to put it out there that I'm interested in getting an ethernet card for an SE/30 if anyone has one.
I recently recapped an SE/30 and got the right sound channel working. Something to keep in mind is that I didn't have enough 47uF caps to recap the entire board, so the...
