sTunnel and Gmail on Mac Plus

I can't get it to make on a Raspberry Pi, but my 2013 MacBook Pro did it after installing some stuff. Not ideal, but I think I can make it work still.

sTunnel and Gmail on Mac Plus

I'll look into it this evening if I can find the time. Looking at the files/config, I think I know how it's supposed to be used, but I wouldn't turn my nose at any advice.

sTunnel and Gmail on Mac Plus

Update on this, I'm pretty sure I'm not doing anything wrong, but it's still not working. The routing is working because every time I change a port or to/from IP I get a different error, possibly the cert is wrong but I'm unsure. I've tried Gmail, Yahoo and ProtonMail, none of them like it.

sTunnel and Gmail on Mac Plus

Anyone know if this still works, or will work? I've tried it, but I think I'm doing something wrong. Trying to receive mail on a Gmail account so I can sync them all to my Palm Pilot.

    Beta testers needed

It will be a bit before I can try, but how does this work network-wise?

Color Classic w/ Sonnet Presto '040 25mhz accelerator

The combination of using an iron and one of those handheld solder suckers worked well, and some flux, and a LOT of patience. I kinda want to swap out the clock crystal and see what it will do, maybe bump it up to 33Mhz, but it's still on a 16Mhz bus so I doubt it'll be worth it if it works.

Color Classic w/ Sonnet Presto '040 25mhz accelerator

Necropost, I too have one of these, but it had a 68LC040 on it. I took the time to remove it, installed a full 68040, and it took just fine, FPU works and everything. I thought about adding a socket to the board, but there is absolutely no room in there. It's neat to see one with a full 68040...

G3 tower, OrangePC only works on loaded system when on bottom.

I never figured out why it does this. Yes, the Sonnet card was a Tempo. I eventually settled on a dual USB card, just to get USB support. I can't give up this card, I recently found the appropriate software for it, so the Mac joystick passthrough works so I can play Mechwarrior 3 with my Gravis...

Running DOOM on a PC Card in a Power Mac?

It's not a DOS card, but the Orange Micro cards work well enough if you use Doom95 or zDoom. They don't do sound in DOS, but windows works swimmingly.

Porting LinuxDoom to System 7 (or trying to) - progress and questions

I have a 25Mhz accellerator for an LCII and it's bad, I also have a Quadra 605 overclocked from 25Mhz to 33Mhz. I also have a 33Mhz 030, and I've tried Doom on all of these. I also know that programs have an issue running at 512 x 384, so I need this FVGA program to kinda fake a 640x480 mode...

Angry Robots! - new game for 68k Macs

Tried it, runs great, no issues observed. The credit card-style keys and the physical key door blocks took me a second. I only had enough time to blitz through 3 levels, good work!

Angry Robots! - new game for 68k Macs

I clicked the Kickstarter link, but there's no mention of funding, is all I mean. I've only heard about some of the things people went through to get physical releases of new-old games. Sounds crazy, but extremely novel.

Porting LinuxDoom to System 7 (or trying to) - progress and questions

    I do wonder how well a 40Mhz 68040 on a 40Mhz bus runs Doom.

Angry Robots! - new game for 68k Macs

Absolutely going to check this out this evening. Testing on an LCII with an 040 accelerator card, so that'll be a unique test environment. I can't wait to make terrible maps for a terrible map pack. I thought Kickstarter was just a money thing, weird.

Angry Robots! - new game for 68k Macs

Does it have any additional elements, beyond what Chips Challenge has? more key keys, other monsters, etc? How do you differentiate key doors in black and white? I second the notion, I can't wait to try it.

Angry Robots! - new game for 68k Macs

This looks like Chips Challenge. Make a tile-based level editor for this and it will be an everlasting staple for every classic Mac user ever.

    MacOS 8.6 vs 9.1 vs 9.2.2

Now that you put it this way, I completely agree.

Lc ii not chiming, recapped, was working fine

I also have a re-capped LCII, SCSI2SD inside and BlueSCSI plugged into the back. It would act up, I had to flip the power on and off and wait for it to even chime. I replaced the internal battery, and it hasn't given me trouble since. I didn't think the LCII had this kind of battery issue, but...

    MacOS 8.6 vs 9.1 vs 9.2.2

Any 603-G3 machines I have run 8.6, anything G4 runs 9.2.2. I completely agree, 9.1 on my 225Mhz 603ev runs pretty bad, even with the 400MHz G3 accelerator it does not run quite right. 9.0 crashed a lot and I gave up on it pretty quickly. 8.6 can do anything I need it to do, I may need to...
