If you're getting your feet wet building a SCSI emulator, you're doing it extremely wrong. ;) How well has this project and your attitude about it gone, since seven years later, nobody's ever heard of it?

If I'm not mistaken, internally it talks to the mobo via a regular serial connection, which seems ripe for a Bluetooth or WiFi adapter. Obviously it would need a new driver, but that is likely a solvable problem. Has anyone toyed with this? A twisted-pair modem is good as useless these days...

Additional data point, my 170 lives in Houston, a humid swamp, and as far as I know has spent its whole life here, and has nary a trace of tunnel vision. If it was exclusively moisture, I think it's spectacularly unlikely that mine would remain unaffected, so there seems to be some...
