this is the battery holder in the install process one thing i noticed is that the batteries i got even though they say 1.5v, they are over 2v from the packaging. 2 batteries show almost 5v all 3 batteries show over 7v is mine going to blow up my computer?

unfortunately yes, they don't sit straight up and down. the contacts don't mate up

nope, no software, and it was still stapled closed too. one thing i will check is in osx, i can get the device id's

even tried the mouse hooked up to the imate is 10.5.9 (aka sorbet leopard) and no right click from the imate and not seeing it in mouse in the system preferences
