    Opcode MIDI translator and LCIII

Ah wonderful. Putting Apple MIDI Driver and MIDI Manager in the root folder did the trick. Hoyle Classic started up right away and sent sound to my MT-32pi. Too bad it is pretty slow on a LCIII. I also tried Thexder (v1.0.1 from Macintosh Repository) and it started but then died with an...

    Opcode MIDI translator and LCIII

Ok, that helped. I cut my cable and mirrored the pins now OMS 2.3.1 can see my MT-32pi and I can play a mid in Musicshop. So how can I get Hoyle Classic to use this? It says it needs Midi Manager and the extension is enabled, I just don't know how to configure it. The game starts then says...

LC III - No video, no sound, and weird schematic

LC III - No video, no sound, and weird schematic

So a little update. I was reading on other forums that some people have an issue with the Mac taking several minutes to start up. I powered on my LC III with no hard drive, just the floppy connected and boot disk inserted. After a while, I came back to it and it booted successfully. Do the...

LC III - No video, no sound, and weird schematic

Hi there, I also have a LC III that was working but had leaky caps. I bought a tantalum kit from console5 and recapped. As far as I can tell everything looks good. Except now I have a system that powers on but no chime or video. No sound through the headphone jack either. I saw -2.8v on the...
