A IIfx I acquired came with one of these power strips. I have never used it, so I don't know if it works. But I toned out the cable for those interested.
What was the resistor connected to? It seems to be pulling down that part of the circuit for whatever reason. Are the boards the same revision? I can't imagine it was placed there randomly.
