The last piece for my collection, maybe lol, the kanga:) nice that it was somewhat local too. Very clean, no breaks in plastic, and has tons of memory, and memories lol (icq-see picture) loaded with software and firewire card. Had someone’s family picture on it lol..
My one monitor kind of slanted to the left when i opened drop down menus before recap. Was fine after recap. Also did some adjustments while cover was off. It also smelt fishy which is definitely cap juice. I recapped everything, all three boards.
Guy had a bunch of mac stuff. I originally responded to ad, but had a dozen people ahead of me he said. Well, two weeks later he told me no one came to collect so i grabbed them on Saturday. A classic ii (working-needs recapping) a blue and white g3 450, powermac g4 350, and 400. Also a 6200...
After i recapped one of color classics it looked like that. There has to be a brightness adjustment on these in back in a small hole. Need a flat preferably plastic blade to turn it.

Believe this is same model.
I had no issues really with mine. I did have the fishy electrolytic fluid smell in one of them
Apple iie, with memory expansion, 80 column card, floppy controllers, another card and applecolor monitor plus 4 floppy drives. Maybe karma after someone ripped me off $100 last week on a local buy sell page.
Well, found a proper floppy and she boots from that. Wont find scsi. So either scsi chip is dead if it has a dedicated one, or something else. Too bad, works normal off floppy
Ok, card game today. I did order a full set of floppies but now i am impatient lol.. so, I have an external scsi drive or two laying around. Can i format it on say a se/30, color classic to the correct partition for iigs? I found some bootable images online. Just curious...
All these traces good?? Some look nasty.. i have had iisi boards with all sorts of issues. Usually a trace somewhere, or something not making contact. The rom simm looks like it has reAlly dirty feetz close to the leaky caps and power connector
well, both my high res monitors are done :) that's a lot of recapping for last two days. Did three external scsi drive and apple CD-ROM psu as well...just finished my 540c power supply....
