I believe that's the responder icon. I'm about to go to bed, but I'll check on my se tomorrow. I have a farralon ethermac in my machine. I only have 1 dns address set in mine.
Under 7.1.1, I had tried power central version 1.3 and 2.0 for the heck of it, installed each version without the cards Installed. Flicked the switch for cache off, shut down and installed. Those 2 versions won't even open with the cache turned off, power central 2.2 will open, but lock up when...
Not a single one worked under 7.5.5. First one I tried under 7.1.1 was desk picture and it worked right away, I haven't tried the others yet on 7.1.1, and yeah I know where they go :P
I ended up getting a sad mac last night after removing my 7.5 install. Got a 0000000F 00000021 code, guess I'm reformatting again tonight lol, just when I got it to where I wanted it.
Okay so I did try it with 7.1.1, desk picture again and it worked first try. But back to 7.5, no dice. Might keep it at 7.1.1 for a bit. Weird tho, I tried last week with 7.1.1 and could not get it to work. Only thing I did different this time, was install appearance manager.
Is there a trick to getting those backgrounder apps like color desk, desk picture, decor to work on compacts? So far I've tried my classic, se and se30 and can't seem to get any of them to work. Spoke with a few others that can't get them working either. The built in ones murder my retinas...
Sorry I missed the question about having another maching to test. Right now I don't, but I have a daystar powercache lc adapter, maybe I can find a cheap lc to test it on.
Yes that was the fast cache control panel that I tried. Here's power central open. The TS adapter has a row of 3 jumpers, top one being open. And his manual doesn't say what they do, just says they belong where they are sort of thing. I tested with and without the jumper soldered to the back of...
Sorry to necro this, but I am having the same problem with my p33 33mhz model in my se30, no fpu and a twinspark version 2.0. Every version of power central freezes, I've tried systems 6.0.8 to 7.5.5 and same thing. Been trying for weeks to figure this out. IF I pull the cards, install power...
