if someone could figure it out i bet you could tape some pins on the card to prevent it from not working in the QS  there are other cards that have an electrical incompatibility in this fashion.. and it must be an electrical incompatbility in the way the card is constructed conflicting with...

yes the 64XTC works fine on a windows computer!!!!!!! recently hooked it up to a pII 266Mhz slot 1 440bx board running windows 3.1 works 100% running windows 95 works 100% back to the 5200CD... for the record there is no Modem in the commslot  i just pulled out the motherboard to check...

is it normal for the system software to take 5.5MB of RAM?  this is another reason why i was going to go to a 68k cpu, vintage software ram requirements are less than half required by software when powered by a PPC cpu.
