I have a base 7.5.5. install on my SE/30. I think it's from archive.org with a lot of utils/games etc. on it. I think it's a stripped down version. So I'm trying to do a 7.5.5 install run with 3 IMGs files via my Floppy Emu device. 'Mounting' the disks works and firing up the install process...

Tried the fixed drivers and control panel and the sound is initially not good. Only after starting the control panel and setting the system back to SLOW (030) and then setting it back to FAST (040) the sound stays normal. System 7.5.5.

Is there anyway to remove LIDO? I have an HDA and it will not boot due to a LIDO install. At least that is what the BlueSCSI logfile is telling me. I can access the HDD by using a LIDO-less image to boot from and then access it. But I really want to use the other one to boot of? Or is it a...

Well, the bootprocess works with ID on 2. But I discovered that the floppy drive was blocked. Tried to insert a floppy and it got stuck. Semi-removed it by 'force' and the ejection mechanism. But now the system seems to think that there is a floppy still inside. So bootprocess is slower due to...

Now I wonder what's the best SCSI ID to use. I have no other SCSI devices in the SE/30

This SCSI2CF supports hardware termination. Initially it did not work with the termination on (ID unknown at the time). So I removed the terminator and it booted. So I presume(d) this works. HDD boots, so no problem. Until I read something about problems with not terminating the device properly...

I'm getting bus errors as well when copying from floppy emu. I'm running 7.5.5 from a SCSI2CF device (non terminated).

After mounting several disk images and copying them (mounted content) to my system (7.5.5. - SE/30 )from my stock memory card that I got from BigMessOWires. I get several error messages from "Finder". Like "Sorry, a system error occured. Finder. Address Error". Or a Bus error. The system halts...

Will do, thanks. And just use Balena Etcher on a windows machine to get the ISO (and partitions) on a CF card? Or do I have to use other software for that?

Thank you very much. I've got something in place. It already thinks it's an IIcx using WishIWere. And the control panel for the Carerra040 card. Or are you referring to something else perhaps?
