Didn't Kensington also make a hybrid USB and ADB trackball with a similar adapter? I wonder if the adapter and circuitry are the same between the two products.
I think their idea was if you wanted to start the computer from a CD not in the computer from a cold start, you'd hold option to get into the selector, from there, you can eject the optical drive to insert your disc, hit the rescan button and you're set.
Don't forget with the Studio Display you can power the computer on by touching the power button on the display. Puts it to sleep too. Bonus with ADC is you get USB through it so you've got extra USB ports to play with on the back.

Looks to be both the correct voltage and amperage.
Slightly off topic, I have one, in storage so not sure on the model number. Has anyone found a way to lubricate or adjust the mechanism to help pivot the display easier? Most of the reason it's in storage and not being used is it takes an alarming amount of effort to pivot. I was worried I...
Hey @Halcyon, the bridge board and SSD both are working great. I ended having to somewhat shoehorn the SSD in at an angle so the bridge board would physically fit where the old drive was. It's not pretty but it's been solid the past couple of years.
