    3D Printed SE/30 ROM Clips

Unfortunately no, as I have moved to Europe and have closed my store. They are available on Printables, perhaps someone could print some for you. Edit: I'm not sure why the forum did not show Chuckdubuque's response, but thank you!

    BlueSCSI 1.1a Macintosh LC Bracket

I am excited to release a new printed part! If you are missing the metal hard drive bracket for your Macintosh LC-series computer, this bracket mounts your BlueSCSI 1.1a in your vintage Macintosh LC-series computer's hard drive bay! If you have the stock metal bracket, then my standard...

SE/30—my first recapping, so close to success

What is the activity light on the SCSI drive(s) doing when you power the machine on, and it gets to a blinking question mark?

@Ferrix97 Did you ever get this one fixed?

    Macintosh IIsi Restoration

@flaurencelle I have not! Techknight recommended checking out the corrosion on my board, especially around 245. I was thinking that I could flux up all of the legs and flow fresh solder, and try things again. I just haven't had a chance to revisit the project.

BlueSCSI 1.1a Expansion Slot Bracket for SE and SE/30

Heads up! There were some minor fitment issues with the original 1.0 release, so I have released version 1.1 which makes some minor fitment improvements. Made the light pipe narrower to accommodate Bluepills with a vertically-installed programming header Moved the light pipe slightly further...

BlueSCSI 1.1a Expansion Slot Bracket for SE and SE/30

Hey 68kMLA! I'm very excited to finally release my latest printed bracket design, which mounts the BlueSCSI 1.1a in the Expansion Slot on a Macintosh SE or SE/30! The main goal of this bracket is to make the microSD card as easily accessible as possible, while keeping your Mac fully...

    Awful Macintosh SE FDHD Revival

There is one little thing left to do on the machine: the lower two screws for the case (that go into the back of the case, through the shield on the logic board, and into the chassis) were in pretty bad shape. I am pretty sure that I discarded them. If anyone knows what size they are, please let...

    Awful Macintosh SE FDHD Revival

Ah, good eye! I didn't notice the playback controls on my own. Thanks for coming along for the ride! Thank you! Thank you! I didn't think it would work again either. As for the rust stains - I think I just used a lot of elbow grease. I usually use Dawn dishwasher detergent and a toothbrush...

    Awful Macintosh SE FDHD Revival

Up until now, I hadn't thought to see how much RAM it has. It appears to have 2 MB. In this configuration, System 6.0.8 will be super snappy, and it will work great for some black-and-white Mac gaming. If someone wanted to upgrade it to 4 MB, and plug in a RaSCSI for SCSI Ethernet emulation, you...

    Awful Macintosh SE FDHD Revival

We're just about done here. After installing the BlueSCSI, I flipped the power switch, and the machine booted right up to System 6.0.8. Fantastic. The CRT was positioned slightly too far to one side, so I used a plastic spudger to rotate one of the centering rings. With that, the restoration...

    Awful Macintosh SE FDHD Revival

The blue chassis just wasn't working for me. I had to paint it. I had to. I grabbed a couple of cans of paint at Home Cheapo, and ultimately chose the Metallic Aluminum Rust-Oleum 2X. I found a place to hand them up in the back yard, and hit them with their first coat of paint. Since it's...

Thanks, I'll give that a try! And I'm glad you're enjoying following along. Sometimes I worry that I'm a bit too detailed and verbose. As always, keep the feedback coming. Ok, just a couple things left on this Mac! It's coming together! It's almost done! No, no. I can't leave it. It can be...

    Awful Macintosh SE FDHD Revival

You might remember from a previous post that the hard drive in this machine blew a Tantalum capacitor. Additionally, my SE/30 needed a hard drive bracket, so I decided to build install a BlueSCSI. I absolutely love these little things, because for about $25 and a MicroSD card, you can have...

    Awful Macintosh SE FDHD Revival

Fast forward one last time from May, 2021 to now (which is November, 2021)! We're finally back up to "current". I feel like it's time to get this restoration finished up. First, I dug out the floppy drive that I cleaned and refurbished in May. I pulled the old drive, and put it in my box of...

    Awful Macintosh SE FDHD Revival

Fast forward from June, 2020 to May, 2021. During this time, @erichelgeson has sent me a donor SuperDrive for this Macintosh SE FDHD. I specifically asked for one that hadn't been serviced, so that we could go through the process here. Here's the drive! It's a bit rusty too, but absolutely...
