    Macintosh II A/UX for MC68851

Cool find! $9346 in today's dollars is an eye-popping $24,675. For 16mhz! Interesting that the 851 is "XC". It's a early part and means it wasn't fully qualified at the time it was released.

$37 USB Microscope on Amazon..Great results!

So 1600x1200 resolution. Full 1080 would be better but for the price that's pretty good.

    Quadra 840av Cold Boot Time

Yes, more ram will increase startup time. In OS9 you can disable the startup memory test. I think that same option is available in 7.6.1. https://happymacs.wordpress.com/2015/01/30/speed-up-mac-os-boot-time-turn-off-ram-tests/

Anyone Recognize This Weird OS On This Proto Mac mini?

One of those grey labels says Foxconn so these were used for testing components or perhaps inventory tracking, if the GL50B means anything.

Anyone Recognize This Weird OS On This Proto Mac mini?

Huh, fascinating. It looks like Chinese to me. Lots of stickers, like they were used for a long time and/or passed around. Where did you come by these? Also, maybe just a coincidence but there is a device called GL50B GPS asset tracker. I wonder if these were used as a test/programming station.

Anyone Recognize This Weird OS On This Proto Mac mini?

That blue and white sticker reminds me of Motorola inventory/property tags. Have you translated the text on the other stickers?

Macintosh, Lisa, and IIGS Dealer and Developer Floppy Disk trove

What a great trove! Especially the Lisa/XL disks. Quickmail, that takes me back. I still have work emails from the mid '90's in QM format. I don't know know why.

    Macintosh XL, anybody?

I have one. I did a thread about it when I refurbed it back in ~2018. I never did get the floppy drive to work.

Local estate find in San Diego

Good God! Hopefully the family will have the time, resources, and willingness to properly sort through all that and get some of it sold off properly. I'm sure ~90% will be sold by the pound but hopefully they can see some profit from the remaining 10%.
