Does this Lisa look like its had the Lisa 1 faceplate added with some Twiggy drives?
Just that the colour looks different.
Maybe the high price for those drives a little while ago was worth it for someone?
Thanks Rick. All plugged in but I keep getting Error 57 (Lisa Lita adaptor?).
Hard drive doesn't spin up so maybe it has seen better days.
Might need to buy a Lisa Lite card and see if that solves the issue- there doesn't seem much on them to go wrong though.
Ok. Still not having any joy.
The cable to the Lisa Lite card goes in either way no problem (either one).
Plugged it in, red to the top, and the computer boots but gives an Error 57. Lite card I believe and the floppy keeps trying to eject.
Plugged the cable in the other way and I just get...
Hi Rick. Have to dig around and see if I can find an appropriate cable.
The two cables coming out of the computer don't appear to have any notches- maybe I'm not looking hard enough.
They seem to plug into the Lisa Lite card either way.
I assume that I can use the cable with the red stripe...
Hi, I know this is an old post but saves me adding pictures again!
I have the same computer as Mactjaap with those two flat cables, one with a red line and one without.
They don't have any notches for correct orientation and I was wondering if it mattered which way they went?
One will be for...
I saw an external SCSI ethernet adaptor for a Mac on eBay recently. I thought about getting it to have play with.
That would work wouldn't it with a IIe card in the PDS slot?
I think it would work if it had a heavy base and held an iPad where the screen is. Bluetooth keyboard, Mac emulator and away you would go.
I'd buy one.
Looks like a good buy for that price. I didn't realise people want that much money for one nowadays.
Funny thing is that they are packaged in Australia- I wonder if there a a couple lost cartons of them lying around in a warehouse here somewhere?
Haven't seen one of those around here on ebay- must be an import?
I used to have mine in an LCIII but it now happily resides in a Colour Classic- personally I find the LC575 just too ugly..
mAJORD started a thread about it over at OCA if you want to check it out- he is in Brisbane.

He has had some success.
Also Tezza over at classic computer (NZ) has been busy...
Yep. I have replaced these in all my classic compact Macs (not just Plus's) and haven't had a recurrence. It's fairly obvious when they start to crack.
I actually like to see some smoke when I turn a dodgy computer on- means trouble shooting is so much easier!
(before I knew any better they used to go straight to the bin when I saw a puff of smoke! )
