Just picked it up. It came with the original system disks, a Leopard DVD, airport, original keyboard, mouse, and an iSight camera. On the downside no hard drive and a bad DVD drive. I threw in a 500gb drive as well as a CDRW drive I had laying around from an old PC and some more ram to up the...

I was given a grab bag of small electronics stuff yesterday that contained two black Apple pro mice, a Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse, and a Logitech MX Revolution mouse. The MX Revolution works but does not have the usb receiver. I may buy one. Anyone have one of these mice? If how to you...
I have an opportunity to pickup a graphite iMac locally. The asking price is $25. All the owner knows about it is that it works. The image he posted shows an Apple pro keyboard with it. I know the graphite model ranged from 400 to 700mhz. I may go check it out. Did the 400mhz model come...
I have an opportunity to buy a 1.25 ghz eMac for $50. 512mb ram, 80 gb hard drive, DVD/CDRW. I'm told it works well and is in very good condition. It comes with a mouse and keyboard. Local pickup. Go for it? Thanks.
I was recently given an Apple canvas carrying case/bag. I have never seen one like it and am not sure what it was used for. I am attaching a couple of images of it. One internal pouch looks like it was meant for 5.25 inch floppies. Anyone out there have any ideas? Thanks.
I may have an opportunity to pick up the following for free.
One Mac SE with 20MB internal HD & Gemini 68030 card
One Mac SE/30 with 20MB internal HD
One Mac IIcx with tabloid b/w monitor
Even though I gave away all my 68ks a while back I may go for it. I'm told they all work.
From a local Freecycle pickup. Blueberry 400mhz DVD. 256mb ram and 10gb hard drive. Needs a keyboard. So far it works fine. Not sure what I'll do with it. Maybe I'll use it for classic OS games. This was the first conquest for me in quite a while. :)
After alot of thought and a brief consideration of Ubuntu I went to a local Apple Store and made a decided to pickup a Mac Mini after trying it out at the store. It fits my needs well since I have a nice display already with a built in USB hub. I went for the 2ghz model with a 2gb ram upgrade.
Picked up from my brother in law who just upgraded to a new iMac. Unsure if I'll keep it. I may use it to replace my Power Mac 7300 which has a G4 400mhz sonnet in it. The iMac is a 600mhz with 256mb of ram, a CDRW, and a 40gb hard drive. The 7300 has 448mb ram, two 7200 rpm 9gb hard...
Another Freecycle find. That is two in about a week. It had Windows XP on it with 192mb of ram. I put Windows 98se on it instead and kept the 128mb simm leaving 64mb in it. I loaded as many of the Dell drivers as I could find and it works nicely. In the spirit of the season I decided to put...
A local pickup from Freecycle. Comes with an matching Epson printer. No keyboard or mouse though. Bad hard drive. I assume either a 266mhz or 333mhz and maybe the printer is grape too. None of the later models were grape. If so could the printer be an Epson 740i? Will find out on Monday...
I can get one on a local pickup. The ad says it is 500mhz but I think it may be 800mhz. 256mb ram and Windows XP. Working battery. They want $125. Is it worth that much?
96 mb ram, 4gb hard drive, wireless card, decent battery, 266mhz Pentium MMX. Had Windows XP Pro on it for some reason. I'll be putting Windows 98 on it.
Just picked up a Thinkpad i 1400 and XP Home on the original disk with an unused key code. The Thinkpad has a bad hard drive. It has a 300mhz Pentium MMX and 64 mb of ram in it. Once I get it up a running I'll put Windows 98se on it.
Just got a new battery for my Lombard. When I push the button on the battery it shows three lights so I assume it is charged. However it will not boot the Lombard. When I plug it in the machine boots but the battery icon only shows and X. The battery is not being seen by the computer. Thye...
Working 400mhz, with 128mb ram, 6gb hard drive, ac adapter, dead battery, no DVD drive. Maybe the original boxes too. From an ebay auction that advertised it as a Powerbook GP3. I was the only bidder. I was looking for something cheap to run Jaguar better than my Wallstreet.
A local city had it's annual spring cleanup trash pickup this week and as I was driving through I saw a IIgs on the side of the road. I already have a IIgs Woz so a spare could come in handy. I pulled over and got it. It had a monitor and a 3.5 inch as well as a 5.25 inch floppy with but all...
I have a pair of 256mb sticks that seem to work only in a BW G3. I tried them in two G4s and an iMac DVD and they will not work in those machines. They work fine in the BW. The sticks are both marked with a label that says G3. Anyone have any ideas on why this is? Thanks.
