Ok So my screen has those diagonal lines and I notice that the screen has like a lot of static electricity in it. I had my hand on screen and turned it on and it zapped the %#$& out of me. Any help?

Hmmm ok il check it out and post some pictures. And I have herd other peoples computers (SE/30s, classics, classic 2s) ply the chimes of death when the sad mac displays.

Ok the system works fine with the external speakers, but it still refuses to sound the chimes of death. Could really caps be the cause for no chimes of death?

I was unable to. Even with head phones I never herd it. :(

So it might not have it or is there a way to fix it so there is a chime??

Ok so I got my Mac Classic today and everything works on it (thank gosh) except for the speakers. You can barely hear them but you'd have to cram your head in the screen to hear it. I checked the volume in the sound settings and they are cranked up. Any help?

Ok so I cleaned all the ram and I checked the capacitors and there is just glue. I found out that the clock battery is dead, could that cause it?

Hello, I have just received this macintosh SE/30 a few hours ago, and every time I try to turn it on, I get these vertical lines and the start up chime does not sound. Does anyone know about this? Also if I need that screwdriver it does not reach the screws where the handle is. What type of...
